Peanut Butter and Jelly Protein Bites

A classic combo turned into one powerful snack! These peanut butter and jelly protein balls are delicious, kid friendly and will keep you full for hours!

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats*
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 2 Tbsp protein powder**
  • 3/4 cup freeze dried strawberries***
  • Crumbled freeze dried strawberries, for the top


  • Blend almonds, oats and protein powder in a food processor until finely ground.
  • Transfer mixture to a large bowl and add peanut butter, maple syrup and dried strawberries. Use a large spoon to stir until fully combined.
  • Form mixture into 1 inch balls. Sprinkled crumbled strawberries over the top and place in the fridge until ready to eat.


*If you need a gluten free option, replace gluten free oats for the regular rolled oats.
**I used a strawberry protein powder from Nuzest for this recipe. I love this brand because it's plant based and they have so many different flavors!
***You can also use dried strawberries/fruit for this recipe too. Since those were hard for me to find I bought freeze dried strawberries at Trader Joe's. Feel free to mix up the fruit to make your favorite pb&j combo!
