Ingredients for Your Roasted Grape Crostini

Crostinis are by far my most favorite appetizer to serve for so many reasons! 1) You only need a few ingredients to make them. 2) They’re the perfect 1-2 bite. 3) Let’s be honest, everyone LOVES finger food at parties! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Crostinis: Homemade or store bought (Directions for making your own crostinis are below)
  • Grapes: Red seedless grapes work the best for this recipe.
  • Honey: Adds some sweetness while also toning down the sharp taste of the goat cheese.
  • Basil: Ties everything together and gives the crostini that little hint of freshness.
You NEED these grape and goat cheese crostini at your next appetizer party! They're so easy to make and perfect for the fall and winter seasons!

How To Make Homemade Crostini

If you’re short on time (or just aren’t feeling up for it) then you can always buy pre-made crostinis from your local grocery store too. (I just prefer to make my own because some store bought brands can be a little too hard in my opinion.) But my homemade crostinis come out perfect every single time!

  • 1 french baguette (you can also use sourdough too)
  • Avocado oil spray (or your favorite type of oil spray)
  • Salt
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut your baguette into ½ inch slices and place them the baking sheet. Spray them lightly with your cooking spray and sprinkle them with salt.
  3. Bake the crostinis for 5 minutes or until they’re lightly toasted. Once done, let them cool completely before assembling your toppings.
Roasting grapes helps to bring out their sweetness and makes them look so fancy too! This is one way of preparing them that you definitely need to try!

How Do I Roast Grapes?

This couldn’t be any easier loves! And it’s definitely the most important step when it comes to making these crostinis too! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2-3 cups grapes (I would suggest either red or black grapes for this recipe)
  • Avocado oil spray (or your favorite cooking spray)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment papper.
  2. Place the grapes in a plastic bag and spray them lightly with cooking spray. Pour the grapes onto your baking sheet and spread them out in a an even layer. Bake them 15-20 minutes or until a few of them just begin to burst. (I personally like to leave most of them whole so you get a big pop of sweetness when you bite into them. 😉 )
  3. Let them cool completely before topping your crostinis with them.

Why roast your grapes you ask? Roasting the grapes helps to bring out their sweetness and also softens them up. (Plus they look super fancy when roasted so it’s an easy way to impress your guests too. 😉 )

Simple and delicious! These incredibly tasty appetizers are on only 5 ingredients and are so full of flavor!

How to make roasted grape and goat cheese crostini?

Like I said before, making crostinis are so easy and you can actually have everything prepped and ready to go beforehand too!

  1. Mix your goat cheese and honey together. Set it aside.
  2. Take your crostinis and slather them with a good amount of the goat cheese mixture. Place a few roasted grapes on the top. Drizzle with a little more honey and sprinkle your sliced basil over the top.

How easy is that?! 😊

TIP: These crostinis are best served cold. I would suggest making the grapes, sweetened goat cheese and crostinis beforehand and storing them in the fridge. (You can leave the crostinis out at room temperature). This way it’s easy to assemble them right before serving.
