When it comes to easy summer salads, this Peach Bluberry Feta Salad is now at the top of my list! Sweet, savory, creamy, crunchy – this one’s got it all!

I first made this salad for a 4th of July party last year and everyone went crazy for it! Between the sweet peaches, blueberries, creamy feta cheese and crunchy candied pecans – there wasn’t a bite left! As much as everyone enjoyed it, I personally loved how easy it was to put together. It only took me about 15 minutes from start to finish – hello delicious!🤗

If you’re looking for an impressive yet ridiculously simple salad this year, I highly reccommend this one. It’d be a great option for holiday parties, summer cookouts, backyard barbecues or just a delicious weeknight dinner at home. Between the fresh produce, summery flavors + variety of textures this is one standout side dish! (Your guests are going to LOVE this summer fruit salad too!😉)

Ingredients used to make a Peach Blueberry Feta Salad with candied pecans, olive oil and balsamic glaze

The Ingredients

Mixed greens: The fresh base for this summer salad recipe! I like using a 50/50 blend or spring mix becuase they have a variety of flavors and textures.

Peaches: Sweet juicy peaches are the star of this salad! Make sure to use ripe peaches for the best flavor, sweetness and texture.

Blueberries: Fresh blueberries add bursts of sweetness and vibrant color making this an incredibly gorgeous salad for the dinner table.

Feta cheese: Adds a creamy tangy flavor that balances the sweetness of the fruit and richness of the candied pecans. I always recommend crumbling a block of feta cheese for the best flavor and texture.

Candied pecans: These add the perfect crunch + a touch of sweetness, making every bite of this summer fruit salad irresisible.

Extra virgin olive oil: A drizzle of good quality extra virgin olive oil brings all the flavors together and adds a light richness to the salad.

Balsamic glaze: The perfect finishing touch! Sweet and tangy balsamic glaze acts as part of the dressing and beautifully complements the fresh fruit and creamy feta.

Cracked black pepper: Don’t skimp on the pepper! A sprinkle of freshly cracked black pepper enhances the natural sweetness of the fruit while adding a subtle savory contrast that takes this salad to the next level.

My Homemade Balsamic Glaze

This salad is amazing with any type of balsamic glaze but I personally love using my homemade version. (I always keep a bottle of my homemade balsamic glaze on hand – it’s incredible on everything!) Plus it’s only 2 ingredients and takes less than 15 minutes to make. Directions for it are below:

  • ½ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1-2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey (I love using maple syrup!)

1. Mix & boil. Whisk the balsamic vinegar and your sweetener of choice together in a small pot. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.

2. Simmer. Once boiling, turn the burner down to medium-low (or until it becomes a soft boil/simmer) and let the balsamic mixture simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. (Your glaze is done once it’s thick enough to lightly coat the back of a spoon.)

3. Cool. Transfer the glaze to a glass bowl and let it cool at room temperature. (The glaze will thicken as it cools.)

4. Store. Pour the cooled glaze into a glass jar or bottle and keep it stored in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use.

Variations

I love the simplicity of this salad! Not only is it incredibly simple to put togther but it’s SO EASY to customize. Whether you’re looking to add protein, swap ingredients or just use what you have on hand, there are plenty of ways to really make this summer peach salad your own. Here are some fun ideas to get you started:

  • Switch up the greens: Try arugula, spinach or even butter lettuce instead.
  • Swap the nuts: Don’t have candied pecans? Candied walnuts, sliced almonds or toasted pecans are all great options for adding crunch to this summer fruit salad.
  • Use a different berry: Fresh strawberries, blackberries or raspberries are great substitutions. (Or serve them with the blueberries for even more summer flavor!)
  • Add some protein: Grilled chicken, steak, or salmon easily turns this peach blueberry salad into a complete meal.
  • Add avocado: Creamy avocado makes a delicious addition + pairs perfectly with the sweet fruit and tangy feta.
  • Switch up the glaze: Try using a flavored balsamic glaze instead! (Raspberry, pomegranate or fig flavored glaze would be amazing!)

  1. Wow, I made this for the 4th of July and everyone loved it! I used Red Haven peaches instead since they just came into season here and Romaine & Butterhead lettuce for the greens. So easy to make and will keep it on rotation this summer. One other thing I changed was using goat cheese instead of feta, since that’s all I had and it tasted great. Now I have a new favorite summer salad and dressing. Everyone loved it and it was a big hit. Great summer recipe that I’ll definitely be making again.

    • OMG Jes!! This just made my day! I’m so so happy you enjoyed it – my family’s been LOVING this salad too & it’s definitely become a staple. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂

  2. Salad of the summer! I did “make it my own” since I just went to my favorite Georgia farmers market & they had a peach salad dressing and candied walnuts which is what I had on-hand. Will definitely make it again!

  3. It was excellent and what a beautiful presentation
