Ingredients used to make ground beef fajitas with homemade fajita seasoning

The Ingredients

Ground beef: The star of this easy fajita recipe! I personally like using 90/10 because it’s leaner but 80/20 works too.

Bell peppers: I love using a combination of red and yellow bell peppers. (They add a beautiful pop of color and have a slightly sweet flavor that complements the beef.) Feel free to use any combination of bell peppers you have on hand though.

Onion: Sautéed yellow onion adds delicious savory flavor and pairs perfectly with the seasoned ground beef and peppers.

Cilantro: Fresh cilantro adds bright herby flavor and is the perfect finishing touch for these fajitas.

Limes: A squeeze of fresh lime juice adds acidity and brightness, bringing all of the fajita flavors together.

Olive oil: Used for sautéing the peppers and onions and helps prevent the vegetables from sticking to the skillet.

Seasonings: A simple homemade fajita seasoning blend of chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper gives the ground beef a ton of flavor.
